What is softwashing ?

Softwashing is a cleaning process utilizing a low pressure delivery system to apply a customized cleaning solution, specially blended to meet the demands of each individual situation or project. Softwashing differs from pressure washing in that a cleaning solution is applied at low pressure, reducing the risk of damage or harm to painted surfaces, roof systems, timbers structures, architectural mouldings and vinyl siding products.

Replacing the harsh and aggressive pressure washing that property owners have been forced to accept, they can now choose to have cleanings done without the damages normally associated with pressure washing.

Some surfaces do require more pressure and we have suitable machinery, with varied pressures, to minimise harm to various surfaces.

Washing forms an important part of the preparation prior to painting but it is also a very important part of ongoing maintenance. A paint manufacturers warranty is often dependent on the newly painted surface being washed annually.

House washing is an inexpensive service and if done annually as recommended, not only will your property’s paint coatings last substantially longer but your house will continue to look great.

Because houses are made from a variety of products and finishes, we provide a variety of House Washing Services. Our specialty washing equipment along with our friendly staff provide professional results in removing dirt, grime and mould from weatherboards, brick and concrete render. This includes using high or low pressure, dependant on the surface requirements.

What is Pressre Washing ?

A pressure or power washer is a high-pressure mechanical sprayer used to remove loose paint, mould, grime, dust, mud and dirt from any surfaces and objects such as concrete, buildings, vehicles and other surfaces. These machines vary in volume and pressure outputs and may be either petrol or electric driven.

Pressure washing is a dangerous activity and should be conducted by an experienced operator. Understanding the dangers of water under extreme pressure and the potential to damage either yourself or the surface you are cleaning during the cleaning process is paramount to safety, environment and the expected outcome of any cleaning task.

What is Pure Washing ?

The term “Pure Washing” refers to the use of purified water for the purpose of cleaning glass, windows, signage, solar panels, glossy and fragile surfaces.

We use local town water that has been passed through a series of filters to remove all dissolved salts and solids, then pass the water through a negative ion salt filter to make the molecular structure of the solution unstable and hungry for positive ions. These ions will be found in the dirt and grime attached to the surface being cleaned. This process assists the water to grab hold of and break down all dirt and grime on the surface being cleaned.

The other good thing about using purified water is that, as it dries, it does not leave any water spots or streaks as there are no solids or salts in the water that can dry onto the surface, leaving a mark. The result is a spot-free surface that will have an almost polished appearance.

The other bonus of washing your windows with this method is it will often clean your window frames and ledges at the same time.
